Dwelling Contractor Continuing Education Online Courses

Reminder: Effective November 1st, 2022, DCQs must obtain 4 hours of continuing education on the following topics: construction laws and codes, contracts, liability and risk management. Any licensee with a renewal date on or after 11/01/2022 must fulfill this new requirement.

We have two courses that meet this requirement: Code, Contracts, Liability, and Risk Management and Construction Laws, Codes, Contracts, Liability & Risk Management for Dwelling Contractor Qualifiers.

The total number of required CE hours has not changed. DCQs still need to obtain 12 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
According to the DSPS, you may not take the same course more than once within your 2-year renewal period.

Once you receive your qualifier certification, you need 12 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years in order to renew your qualifier certification. This education must be completed three months before the renewal date to allow time for processing by the state of Wisconsin.
